Countdown starts now!

I'm a nerve wrack.
Well, not a "nerve" wrack exactly. It's rather...an "excitement" wrack.
If you are like me, consider yourself warned. A trip to Peru can do that to you, especially if it's one of the must-do's in your life's agenda.
Watchout for the following symptoms, as they indicate how serious your "condition" is:
i) constant daydreaming,
ii) uncontrollable urges to dig in the internet and read thoroughly every travel site,
iii) frequent harrassement of your close (or not so close) friends that have travelled to any point within 1000km of your destination.
iv) distorted perceptions of time flow, typically manifested as a feeling of "time going by too slowly".
And I have to thank (or blame in this context) Sam and his lovely (already) wife Ena, that are taking the religious vows in Lima, Peru. This sets the perfect excuse for a wonderful, idealic, magnificent, 15-day journey to Peru.
As for the basic trip-set up, I count on 3 things:
1. Sam & Ena's tips
2. The must-have lonely planet guide
3. Rachel's (my journey mate) questionable organizational skills > nearly as bad as mine own!

I'm still at an early stage of journey preparation, but looking forward to put together my first thoughts!
The countdown starts now...
